Unique is actually the most accurate, consistent and quiet at 5.7grs, but it has so little gas volume it doesn't even unlock the bolt.
#300 BLACKOUT SUBSONIC LOAD DATA LIL GUN SERIES#
I may have had issues with a lack of case flaring for this series however. I have to wait a few more months to see how it does suppressed. I'm working on a W680 load currently, since I managed to trade for a can of the stuff.Īlliant 2400 is very close to functioning at 7.5grs unsuppressed (PMC commercial cases, CCI SR primers, runs 1066-1080fps). My alloy is straight w/w, water dropped, Alox tumble lubed, and seated into slightly expanded cases (Lee universal flaring die). I trim fairly short though, so your OAL may vary. Close range coyote/plinking round is my basic use.Ībout 2.2" OAL (roughly) when I use the crimp groove below the driving band. Looking for a few loads that will run subsonic ( I run a Gemtech HVT QD suppressor), fully cycle the bolt suppressed and wide open, and will lock the bolt back on the last round. Have 16lbs of Lil' gun on the way from Grafs. Next powder is Reloader 7, and after that 4227. (West coast Washington State, 250 feet above sea level, 65 degrees) Thought I heard a crack on the 9.1gr round, as it was too dark to shoot through the Chrono. Loads from 8.1-9.1gr shot with no signs of over pressure (no flat primers).

Satisfactory COAL? I find the 0.25" cross section of the boolit, mark it, and use it as a guide. After about 5 castings, my bullets drop straight, no bends, and after an initial inspection out of 300 bullets, 11 were culls, a little over 3%. Have my hardness and mixture where I want it.
